Brief 1 - F~w web mock ups
Mock Ups of the Form and writing website pages in context. Seems to be working really well and am very pleased with the outcome despite the fairly short turn around. Although it is not a working website (the blog we have is working for now) it is conceivable that it could be. I'm especially pleased with the links made between printed material and the web pages, think the colour links really help to identify each font.

Brief 1 - F~w panoply packaging
This is the slip cover that Joe made to hold the range of specimen material for the fonts. Really clean and made from very heavy GF Smith pale grey. This won't be printed on, there will just be a cover sheet on top of all the specimen material with text along the very edge that will protrude from the slip cover.
Brief 1 - F~w complete font set development
Photos of the full set of specimen material for each font excluding A2 specimen posters. Really pleased with this as a set and think they tie together brilliantly despite all being developed separately and having a lot of free reign in terms of design. We kept format and stock choices consistent throughout in order to keep coherence and think this has worked nicely.
Brief 1 - F~w bytes posters digital
Digital versions of the A3 specimen posters, these will be printed black onto green stock. Unlike Joe and Yafs the posters I've done also have the word at the bottom as well as a phonetic description, due to the nature of the font.
Brief 1 - F~w poster printing
Printed versions of the Matilda specimen posters to go with the specimen booklets and the rest of the printed material from all the other fonts. I designed these in the same fashion as the others, using only single words spread across the poster. The posters are then folded down to fit into the pack along with the specimen booklets.
Brief 1 - F~w Specimen booklet printing/binding
Below is the full set of specimen booklets thus far.
Today we decided to crack on and print all the Form and writing specimen books as well as a range of A3 posters to accompany each booklet. These would then be held together in a slip cover, in order to showcase all the fonts we've produced so far. Each font would be showcased in the same way, with each glyph being assigned a single page in the specimen booklets and the central spread for a pangram. pages after the alphabet would be used for whatever each of us wanted. I decided to write a number of words in the bytes font.

Brief 1 - Specimen booklet development
Revised layout using central spread for pangram and last pages for words.
Brief 1 - Interesting words for specimen posters.
For a set of A3 specimen posters to go into a complete set for Form and writing we decided to look up words that would showcase the fonts well. Whether this be through the sheer amount of letters or the sound of the word.

Looking at the how the website may work using photoshop, mainly showing the scroll of the home page.
Brief 1 - Finalised Web pages
Developed web pages I did for the F~w site and how we'd like it to look. These include a simple 2 column blog-like home page presenting both research and process. A fonts page, containing all the finished fonts with a specimen format, showcasing the fonts. Selecting the fonts from this second page would then lead to a separate font page, on which the background will change to the same as the specimen image and all the printed matter produced for that font. this is where the option to buy the fonts would be available.
I think this is looking good at the minute and although it is an will only be a mock up it is very viable as a finished website.
Brief 1 - F~w - Further web development
Developing pages for the Form and writing website, mainly font pages, that would be selected from a list of the fonts to reveal a specimen like page, linked to the printed ephemera by colour.

Brief 1 - F~w - specimen posters
As part of the printed material for Form and writing, we wanted to create some smaller posters that would accompany the A2 prints. These would be simple posters, using only one word and would just show how the words look in the font. The words chosen would be obscure or unusual and would be used simply to show the font.
