Brief 5 - Carriageworks web development
Developing the Carriageworks web presence along the same lines as the stationary. Using the same colourways was a good place to start and with the rgb it was possible to get a much more impacting version of the same colour. Along with this I kept the contact details on the left as the had been applied to the stationary in the same way and I thought this would make a further link between web and print deliverables as well as allowing the contact information to be seen the whole time. The home page would start with carriageworks in white but I think it should change to descriptive words about the carriageworks every few seconds by fading into the next word. This gives the viewer a good idea of what the Carriageworks is about in a fairly eyecatching manor. Once pages are selected this will just revert to the carriageworks and will sit in the background.
Brief 5 - Carriageworks web mock ups
mock up of the website in context. Think this is looking good and sits in line with the identity nicely.
Brief 5 - Carriageworks facade mock up.
Exterior signage mock up developed for the Carriageworks, using a photo I took from visiting the building. Not the best mock up ever but I think it gives a good idea of the kind of facade that the building would have with the new identity.

Brief 5 - Carriageworks flyer
Really simple flyer for the Carriageworks working with very similar effect to the stationary simply promoting the performances at the venue and giving the reader a point of contact.

Brief 5 - Carriageworks business cards
The design for the back of the card, trying to keep it simple yet distinctive.
I felt that the pale green on its own was a little flimsy so decided to use this blue to give them a bit more bulk. This also reflects the colour that the identity has been printed in making the link between stock and finish.
The finished cards, with two layers of blue between the two green sheets. This gives a really weighty feel and good contrast between the two colours running through the centre of the cards.

Brief 5 - Carriageworks business card print tests
Testing various colourways when printed for the Carriageworks business cards. Leaning towards the first example, with a slightly more subdued, yet still fresh aesthetic.

Brief 5 - Carriageworks - Letterhead variation.
Variations on the Carriageworks letterheads working around the identity and colour scheme developed for the business cards. Again it is the last two examples that I think work best, and they would be printed navy onto pale green stock. It might be nice to have a stock that shows through very slightly as the detail running down the left hand side of the back will fit nicely into the gap on the right of the letter side.
Brief 5 - Carriage Works Business Cards
Range of varied business cards for the Carriageworks stationary. Leaning towards the last two examples for front and back, which would be printed navy blue onto pale green stock. I think this colour combination still portrays the same kind of energy that the current identity is trying to portray but gives a more refined appearance.

Brief 5 - Carriage works - final word mark
2 final marks for Carriageworks. one abbreviated and the other as the full mark. This is supposed to represent the carriageworks as a confident and alternative theatre venue in comparison to the other much more established theatre venues in Leeds. I think that this mark achieves that, giving the identity a much more recognisable mark than the current one. this also moves away from the graphic currently used, and pares it back to just type. I think the because of the multifaceted nature of the carriageworks I don't think it should be represented by a graphic, rather a mark much more open to interpretation that simply makes the name recognisable even when abbreviated.

Brief 5 - Carriageworks developed letterhead
Developing the carriageworks identity from the initial letterheads produced a while ago with the previous word mark. Revised word mark I think is much more recognisable and means that even when abbreviated it is obvious. I have gone for a similar colour to carriageworks current branding which seems to portray an amount of energy, however I think I will move away from this and go for a different colour with a similar effect instead.
