Brief 4 - Sound Bites - Wayfinding Mock up.
Above is the original image and the edited image with the developed wayfinding in place. I think this gives a good idea of how the wayfinding system would work, using the modular nature of the font developed and of the posters to work on.

Brief 4 - Sound Bites Finalised wayfinding
Finalised wayfinding for the Sound Bites exhibition working on the modular appearance of the bytes font to create the shapes and position the elements of the signage. these signs would be perspex sheets, with cut perspex letters placed on in white. They would be set off the wall to create some space between the wall and signage.

Brief 4 - Initial wayfinding
Some initial wayfinding ideas for the Sound Bites event, these are just general signs. Perhaps those that would be seen in the stairwells of the building or beside the lifts as they give an overview of all areas of the library. I started using the Sound Bites font for the main lettering but I think at that size it appears a bit clumsy, so I felt it a bit more appropriate that the larger lettering be in Apercu for legibilty.
The areas less important are in the bytes font as the legibility is not such an issue once anyone viewing the sign has seen the large lettering.

Brief 4 - ISTD - Dialect book reprint
I reprinted the dialect book in order to change a few mistakes I spotted within the spreads and to give it a different cover. I think this is working much better now, and the image crossing over the page gives a much more interesting device to the cover.
Brief 4 - ISTD - Event tickets embossing
Embossing the Sound Bites copper tickets with the pattern from the copper plate that I made originally for A5 flyers that were to be letterpressed. Unfortunately the impression was not deep enough for letterpress so it made sense to try and find another use for it. The pattern that is embossed just says sound bites in the Bytes typeface so I think as well as being both more visually engaging and more tactile, it also makes a nice link to the name of the event and font used throughout.

Brief 4 - ISTD - postcards on gloss
A few tests printing the postcards I designed for Sound Bites on gloss stock. The colours are good, however the image quality is lacking and there are certain areas on the images where too much ink has been put down, due to the heavy colour of the image and the print has become very blotchy. Also having printed them I'm not really keen on the texture or feel of the gloss, so I think I'd much prefer these postcards on matt.
Brief 4 - ISTD - Printed postcards
Printing the postcards on matt in order to get a more solid colour. Think these work nicely, Have also quadplexed all of these cards each having a front and back and then two sheet of colour in the middle. Images with copper squares have copper paper in the centre. Images coloured red have red in the centre.
