Brief 4 - ISTD - event ticket development
Screens showing the development of the tickets for the Sound Bites exhibition. This is a simple gridded design that I will print onto metallic copper paper and emboss with the darker squares. Started initially quite simple with Sound Bites printed large in the centre of the ticket and on the stub.
I'm leaning towards the last example at the minute that is a little simpler and can be applied across a range of tickets like those below, however there some interesting things in the development that I might like to explore a little more. Such as the sound bites being placed across the perforation so that the word mark is split when the stub is removed. An interesting idea that links nicely to the name.
A similar idea to the tickets, however these are much simpler as they don't require so much of the information as on the tickets. Again VIP entry would be on copper paper and embossed. the metallic finish will give the appearance of a 'golden ticket' which seems more important. Despite the other tickets being on copper too.
Initially was working with all the text on the same level, but really like the VIP ENTRY dropped level with the second line of sound Bites as I think it makes this stand out more and gives the ticket a bit more heirarchy which is good.
Press pass is very similar to the VIP ENTRY however I also played about with the positioning of the perforation on this one. As this would change the format of the ticket and make it easier to use as a press pass, particularly one that could be worn around the neck on a lanyard. Having the two perforations makes it a much more workable format for this idea.
The Press pass I think would be on different stock to differentiate it entirely from the other ticket types, just as the job of a press photographer is entirely different to that of the public and allows the ticket to be spotted easily.
